Virginia Baez age 68, of Apopka, Florida passed away June 13, 2023. She was born February 2, 1955 in Patterson, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Carmelo and Tomasa (Martinez) Baez. Virginia was self employed involved with numerous businesses throughout her working years. She loved dancing, music, an avid fan of Marc Anthony, sports, cooking, and gardening, she had quite the "green thumb". Virginia loved spending time with her family and storytelling with her grandchildren. Her family remembers fondly her love of telemundo spanish soap operas and mafia style movies. She is survived by her husband Juan M. Rivera, two children Jessica Rivera, and Yamil (Gisell) Rivera; two brothers Manuel (Elizabeth) Baez, David Baez, and one sister Sandra Baez. Virginia is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Ariel J. and Yarieliz Colon, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her very much. There are no services planned at this time.
