Richard Place Obituary

Richard Curtis Place age 71, passed away peacefully in the care of Hospice of Altamonte Springs on Monday November 30th, 2020. An Army veteran, Richard grew up and spent his adult life being a resident of Sanford. Richard loved to work with wood and build things for family and friends. He also had a huge passion for classic rock. Richard was a loving son, brother, husband and father. Always available to help someone in need with a project. Richard is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janice, two children Matthew (Gina) Place of Orange City, FL, daughter Regina (Greg) Nicholas of Sanford, FL, sister Patricia Sentell of Orange City, FL, niece Deborah Aitcheson and mother Bettie Place of Sanford, FL. In lieu of flowers or cards, please donate to Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs for the wonderful care they provided Richard in his last days, and for the support they continue to provide the family during this difficult time.
