Maria Mercedes Aponte Pizzarro age 72, of Sanford, Florida, passed away August 8, 2022. She was born December 2, 1949 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Jesus Aponte and Mercedes Pizzarro. Prior to her retirement she was a opthamologist assistant for the Florida Eye Clinic. Maria is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Tony Colon, Jr. , two daughters Gina Maria Guiterrez and Maritza Iris (Bobby Adamowicz) Colon. She is also survived by three grandchildren Irma (Jose) Martinez, Kamilla Guiterrez, Luella Adamowicz and three great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Collison-Gramkow Funeral Home.
