Loving Memory of Loraine King

Loraine King, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy of faith, love and joy.  She was a beloved wife of Oneal King; 30+ years of marriage, a nurturing mother to her children; Roderick Nadia and Tedrick, and a cherished grandmother whose presence filled the room with warmth and laughter.

A proud native of Sanford, FL, Loraine held her hometown close to her heart.  Her kitchen was her sanctuary, where she often sat at her computer, playing gospel music that filled her home with praise.  Whether she was checking in on family and friends or offering words of comfort and wisdom, her thoughtfulness was a constant reminder of God’s love.

Family gatherings were sacred to Loraine.  She found great joy in hosting meals and creating memories that centered around love, laughter and togetherness.  Her faith in God was unwavering, and she lived each day as a testament to His grace.

Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to fill out lives, and her love will be carried in our hearts. We are comforted knowing that she is now resting in the arms of her Savior, continuing to watch over us from above.

Loraine Green King age 63, of Sanford, Florida, passed away October 5, 2024. She was born November 19, 1960 in Sanford, the daughter of the late Buddy and Lula Mae Bryant. Mrs. King is survived by her loving husband of 34 years O'Neal King, three children Roderick (Rose) Green, Nadia (Ricky Walker) Smith, Tedrick (Diamond) Green, and bonus son Charles Smith. Loraine is also survived by four siblings Loretta Bryant, Dianelle Jones, Stanley Bryant, and John Bryant; thirteen grandchildren Dez-mond Smith, De-morion Smith, Cha-neica Smith, Da-raveius Smith, Tatiayna Green, Kayana Green, Tedrick Green, Jr., Taliyah Green, Desirae Green, Zaya Green, Mya Green, Maxwell Green, and Reagan Walker.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Collison-Gramkow Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:00PM.
