Juan Ramon Sanchez, Sr.

Juan Ramon Sanchez, Sr., age 78, of Sanford, Florida, passed away July 4, 2024. He was born August 7, 1945 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Gregorio Sanchez and Aurora Rivera. Prior to his retirement Juan was a painter for the hotel industry. He enjoyed the outdoors, wood working, and barbequing. His family also remembers fondly he was an avid complainer. Along with his parents Juan was predeceased by one sister. He is survived by his longtime companion Rosalina Carbone, two sons Juan R. Sanchez, Jr. (Lupe Cortez), Jesse R. Sanchez, step son Jose A. Perez, step daughter Liza Perez, three brothers Eriberto Silva (Frances), Felipe Sanchez (Lori) and Fred Ramos. Juan is also survived by five grandchildren Isaiah Michael Ford, Joshua Andrew Martin, Jesse J. Sanchez, Jr., Jazia Sanchez, Bernadette Sanchez, and one great grandchild Tatiana Ford. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Collison-Gramkow Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 PM.
