Jessie Joseph Lee, Sr.

Jessie Joseph Lee, Sr. age 85 of Sanford, Florida, passed away July 4, 2023 joining his "Bride" in heaven. He was born January 18, 1938 in Henderson, North Carolina, the son of the late William Thomas and Mabel (Wallace) Lee. Jessie loved the Lord, he served his country proudly with the United States Navy, and prior to his retirement he worked as a truck driver. He loved NASCAR and all sports, Jessie was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Along with his parents Jessie was predeceased by his beloved wife Joyce Lee in 2021, three brothers Wayne, Tasso, and Buck Lee; five sisters Magdalene Parker, Margaret Paschal, Katherine DeGlow, Juanita Biggs, Helen Alfred, and Mattie Stanley. Mr. Lee is survived by three children Jessie J. Lee, Jr., Deana Lee, and Patricia J. Lee; one brother William Larry Lee, three grandchildren Robert Thomas Lee, Michael Jeffrey Hill, Ashlee Turner, and one great grandchild A'Dariah Dennard. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Collison-Gramkow Funeral Home. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
