Jeanmarie Mactye Obituary

Jeanmarie Mactye age 63 of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, passed away January 21, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. She was born November 30, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (O'Hare) Tevlin. Jeanmarie was employed with AAA for 28 years, she retired December 31, 2019 as a Senior Analyst. While with AAA she was the coordinator for the Meals on Wheels Program and the United Way Program. She was very active in the community serving on numerous boards and volunteer work. Jeanmarie was President of the HOA for the Lansdowne Community from 2008 to 2016. She was an active member and volunteer for All Souls Catholic Church, volunteering for the school, the golf committee, and the Harvest Festival Auction. Mrs. Mactye served on the board of BSA Troop #507 Lake Mary for 18 years, and also volunteered with the J.O.S.H. Program Just our Soldiers Helpers. Jeanmarie is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Doug J. Mactye, son Douglas J. (Mickayla Souders) Mactye, one brother Joseph (Diane) Tevlin, two sisters Diane Menone, Gigi (Rick) Moffat, and her niece Olivia Moffat. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Collison-Gramkow Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM at All Souls Catholic Church Historic Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her name to MD Anderson Cancer Center, J.O.S.H., MOW Seminole County, Tunnel to Towers, or to All Souls Catholic School.
