Elizabeth “Betty” Funkhouser Martindill Willis

86, of Sanford, FL, passed away on July 16, 2021. She was born in Needmore, WVA on August 5,1934 to Elva Funkhouser Larrick and was married to Charles Willis on December 12, 1975 in Sanford, FL.

As a member of Upsala Presbyterian Church, she was an Elder of the church, participated in choir, and was a dedicated member of the congregation. Betty was an avid reader, grew beautiful roses,  and loved to sing. 

She is survived by; sisters, Joyce Casey, and Joan Lewis, Winchester, VA and brother, David Larrick of Charlottesville, VA  Her loving children; Lowell Martindill, III, Hodges, SC, Ann (Glenn) Welborn, Sanford, FL, Doree (Greg) Rice, Altamonte Springs, FL, Mary McNeal, Sanford, FL, Beverly (Michael) Vaughn, Winter Springs, FL, Robert (Ronni) Martindill, Deland, FL, and David (Fionia) Martindill, Debary, FL. She has 15 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday at Collison Gramkow at 500 E. Airport Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773
