Elizabeth Quinn Obituary

Elizabeth Jewell Quinn age 95, of Sanford, Florida, passed away October 9, 2020. She was born July 4, 1925 in Stratford, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Bertram Ellsworth and Lelia (Smyth) Jewell. Prior to her retirement Mrs. Quinn was a teacher for the handicapped at Lake Mary High School. She was very artistic and had a love of music. Elizabeth studied piano at Oberlin College and Conservatory. Mrs. Quinn was a long time member of All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford; where she was a very active member, she made the church vestments. She also enjoyed playing games especially with her grandchildren. Mrs. Quinn was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas C. Quinn on April 25, 2012. She is survived by seven children, Thomas E. Quinn, Elizabeth Quinn (Tim) Arnold, Patricia Quinn Reinke, Dr. James E. (Joan) Quinn, Charles R. (Rosie) Quinn, Carol Quinn (Roger) Schell, and Mark C. (Evelyn) Quinn. Elizabeth is also survived by her numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
