Daisy Rose Nugent

Daisy Rose Dennis (Nugent) age 87, of Lake Mary, graced this world with her presence on September 8, 1936, and peacefully departed on October 17, 2023. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of love, family, and friendship. She is survived by her husband Basil Nugent, children, Carol, Wayne, and Mark, her 3 sisters, Sonia, Ruth, and Pauline, 1 brother Fitzgerald, 6 grandchildren, Naeem, Nathifa, Bethany, Sheridan, Serayah, and Bella, 4 great grandchildren, Micayla, Olivia, Liam, Maya and many more family and friends. Daisy was born to the late Kenneth and Erna (Splatt) Dennis. She was born and raised in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica and migrated to England where she lived for 13 years. In 1970 she migrated to NY where she worked at St. Luke-Roosevelt Hospital as a nursing attendant. Daisy cultivated life long relationships with some of her coworkers. Upon retiring, she and her husband settled in Florida. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sister, Daughter and friend. Daisy has touched the lives of many. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered.  The family will receive friends on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Collison-Gramkow Funeral Home. A viewing will also be held at Nativity Catholic Church on Friday, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM at Nativity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at All Souls Catholic Cemetery. A full detailed obituary will be posted when available.
