Bruce Tannenbaum

Bruce Steven Tannenbaum August 28, 1944 ~ October 27, 2021 It is with the greatest of sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Bruce Tannenbaum. He was born August 28, 1944 in Bronx, New York, the son of the late Norman and Shirley (Slack) Tannenbaum. Bruce served his country proudly with the United States Airforce during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he was a radiation physicist for cancer treatment. Bruce worked in healthcare for many years with patients and their families. He enjoyed traveling and vacationing to many different places over the years. His family remembers fondly, he spent his whole life supporting his children and beloved grandchildren. Mr. Tannenbaum was predeceased by his parents Norman and Shirley Tannenbaum, one brother Alan Tannenbaum, and son-in-law Gary Hendricks, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Julie Tannenbaum, his brother Scott (Becky) Tannenbaum, daughters Alicia (Mitchell) Howard, and Judy (Aaron) Giachetti. He is also survived by seven grandchildren Shannon, Brianna, Sean, Brendan, Alex, Kylie, and Nadia. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at All Souls Catholic Church (historic chapel) on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM located at 800 S. Oak Avenue Sanford, Fl., 32771.
