Arnold Felix Romero

Arnold Felix Romero was born June 9, 1938 to Cecilia Romero nee Felix, and Felix Romero in Port of Spain Trinidad, West Indies. Arnold spent his first 34 years in Trinidad where he attended Eastern Boys Government School until the age of 14. He then went to Tranquility Boys Intermediate School until the the age of 17. At the age of 18, he continued his education where he learned book keeping. He then gained employment at Trinidad and Tobago Building and Loan company where he worked for several years before migrating to the United States in 1972. In the US Arnold learned the ropes in this new country he would call home for the rest of his life. He worked for several years at Manhattan Savings, HSBC, the Republic Bank. In 1998, he retired and enjoyed spending his days with his grandchildren, taking them to the parks and anywhere they wanted to go, as they called upon him he was eager and never refused any ones request. Arnold was a kind man and loved by anyone he came into contact with. He was a real jokester. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Arnold will be missed dearly by everyone. Arnold leaves behind his wife Joyce Romero nee Richardson, his daughter Deidre, son-in-law Carlton, son Gerrard, daughter-in-law Lashawnder, his grandchildren Anthony, Alisha, Aaliyah, Arielle and Gianna; and a host of families, The Marks, the Josephs, Evans, Manswells and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 9:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM at Collison-Gramkow Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow in the chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at All Souls Catholic Cemetery.
