Raymond Cogburn, Sr. Obituary

Raymond C. Cogburn age 68, of Sanford, Florida, passed away February 15, 2024. He was born March 8, 1955 in Sanford the son of the late Dewey R. and Amy L. (Hilliard) Cogburn. Mr. Cogburn served his country proudly with the United States Army. Prior to his retirement Raymond was the Fleet Manager for the City of Altamonte Springs. He enjoyed motorcycles, auto racing, fishing, and camping. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Vicky R. Cogburn, two sons Raymond C. (Heidi) Cogburn, Jr., and Joey (Kim) Cogburn; two brothers Bob (Sharon) Cogburn, Rick (Sherri) Cogburn, and one sister Diana Tilley. Mr. Cogburn is also survived by 3 grandchildren Callee, Nathan, and Michael Cogburn. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Collison-Gramkow Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow in the chapel at 11:30 AM. Interment with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations in his name to Disabled American Veterans Seminole Chapter #30 website davchapter30.tripod.com, by mail to 3512 Orlando Drive Sanford, Fl., 32773.
